History of College:
Mahatma Gandhi College, Guntur came in to existence in 1992 as an affiliated college of Nagarjuna University. The Degree Courses Campus is located on NGO Colony road, Near Pattabhipuram Railway Gate, Guntur, while the campus of Postgraduate Courses is located on National Highway no.5, near 13th Km of Chilakaluripet Road. MCA, M.Sc. (Computer Science) MBA, M.Com and BBA programmes are offered on P.G. Campus.

- is the FIRST College to start BBM Progamme in Acharya Nagarjuna University area(1992)
- is the SECOND College in the jurisdiction of A N U to Offer M.Sc.(Computer Science)course from 1997
- is the FIRST College to start BBM Four year BBM(Hons) course in the State of Andhra Pradesh
- is the FIRST College to get its Department of Business Studies recognized as Research Center by A.N.U.
- is the Premier College to have a tie-up with University of Cluj-Napoca,Romania
